Greg Martell

I write music that speaks to my heart. Some of my fondest memories involve late-night jam sessions with dad, which have significantly shaped my artistic journey. I cherish the values he imparted to me, including a passion for music, a strong sense of family, a solid work ethic, and a desire to help others. I hope my music reflects a vision of a world where compassion and empathy prevail.

For my album, I used my dad's cherished guitar—a 1953 D-18 Martin he ordered from New York in his twenties. It was so well-loved that it even has a hole from years of strumming, and it has been a part of countless dances and celebrations.
